The simple design, of an Avocet, is based on one of my photographs. The background is a special production streaky glass. Details are added by hand, using traditional stained-glass paint, this is then fired in my kiln and will not fade or flake. This large curve measures 23.5cm wide, 19cm high and 9cm deep.

A walk along the beach on a blustery evening as the sun disappears for the day. White horses dance, reds and purples merge the darkening sky and the sea into one. This piece is inspired by one of my photographs, taken at Temple Newsam Park, the bluebells in the woods were in full bloom. This curve is highly textured, creating a feeling of depth to the scene, the dappled sunlight, as well as the vibrant bluebells. This large curve measures 24cm wide, 21cm high and 10cm deep.
